Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT

A deposit of 50% of the total job price is required on ordering, with the remaining balance due 3 days before the final installation commences. All payments payable to A & S Furinshings.

CANCELLATION

A & S Furnishing reserves the right to charge the client 20% of the deposit for any change in installation date which is no fault of A & S Furnishings. If the client wishers to cancel the order with A & S Furnishings there is a none refundable deposit.

DELIVERY DATES AND FINAL INSTALLATION

All dates are given in good faith and A & S Furnishings will not be held liable for any costs due for late deliveries which are not due to A & S Furnishings. Work will not be carried out if the property is considered dangerous.

OWNERSHIP

A & S Furnishings will remain the owner of all goods installed, until the full amount of invoice value has been paid and cleared. No return of goods will be accepted which have been supplied in accordance with the purchaser's order.

GUARANTEES

All guarantees and warranties will be left at the purchaser's property in case of faulty workmanship or other claims requiring exchange or repair. All quotes are given in good faith.

LIABILITY

It's down to the purchaser to ensure that all goods are insured once received,
A & S Furnishings are only responsible for he goods up to the time of installation. Under no circumstances will A & S Furnishings be liable for any loss or injury attributable to defects in the goods.

DAMAGE OR MISSINGS ITEMS

All items will be checked off on installation and A & S Furnishings will advise the client of any outstanding items. We cannot accept liability for any items that go missing after installation, any damaged or shortage of items must be made in writing within 7 days of final installation.

DESIGN

Design materials and finishers are liable to change without notice in the light of continuing development. We reserve the right to substitute items of a similar quality.

FORCE MAJEURE ETC

A & S Furnishings will not be liable to the purchaser for any breach of contract arising from or which may have been caused by Act of God, force majeure, war, riot, civil commotion, Government order, direction or legislation by fire, accident, strike, adverse weather conditions, delays in transport or by any other matter which A & S Furnishings have no control over.
